職安健創新及科技博覽 2024
所謂讀萬卷書 不如行萬理路 非常感謝公司又比機會我參加職安健活動 好老實 比平日番工累 可能始終都仲係未習慣出席呢d 場合
但真係一個福份 因為做安全幾年 講黎講去都係例，講反講去都係information instructions training and supervision, 感覺好似比政府部門洗腦咁
今日出席呢個活動算係腦震盪一下，雖然我本身吾打算去，但既然公司出錢 我點都不要浪費！
What’s it – about the expo?
It is hold by the OSHC and co-organised by various organisations, including the government departments, safety equipment companies, start-ups, college students and even secondary students. Some of these participants are paid for the booth while some are the winners of the OSH Innovation & Technology Award.
What I have learned from the event?
I had opportunities to practice my communication skills. Tbh, no offence to anybody, but I received comments from good friends and colleagues that I might be quite blunt and my questions to others might be aggressive (I had no offensive meaning though.) This would be a good chance for me to practice it.
This event could be helpful in enhancing my skills for presentation, I could learnt from other’s presentation skills. Through listening to the speakers in seminar sessions and watching their powerpoint slides, I got idea in what way to make a presentation next time. I had no idea to use the “radar chart” to explain the effectiveness. Rightly, through visiting different booths and stands, I took photo records and they could be a reference for my future presentations.
From OSH knowledge perspective, I have just learnt the pronunciation for OSH (音： odd shh~~~) … as a professional safety personnel, I will try not say O-S-H anymore, ha~ Indeed, the first two seminar sessions were particularly good (my opinion). It seemed to be a lecture at school. I got idea about different OSH projects across the globe.
Finally, I suddenly have just felt that I am getting old. Somehow my mindset has been changed slightly. When I was listening to the students’ sharing about their innovative products. I can feel that they are more creative than me, perhaps they had not gone though the process of socialisation. They are really more pure and they can think outside the boxes, in comparison to me.
Anyway, thanks company this wonderful opportunity.
