Angle of repose
Angle of repose : 休止角,亦作安息角,是斜面使置於其上的物體處於沿斜面下滑的臨界狀態時,與水平表面所成的最小角度(即隨著傾斜角增加,斜面上的物體將越容易下滑;當物體達到開始下滑的狀態時,該臨界狀態的角度稱為休止角)。
大量顆粒狀物質被傾倒於水平面上堆積為錐體,堆積物的表面與水平面所成內角即為休止角,其與密度,顆粒的表面積和形狀,及該物質的摩擦係數相關。
休止角指在重力場中,粉料堆積體的自由表面處於平衡的極限狀態時自由表面與水平面之間的角度。 測定休止角的方法有兩種:注入法及排出法。注入法:將粉體從漏斗上方慢慢加入,從漏斗底部漏出的物料在水平面上形成圓錐狀堆積體的傾斜角。排出法:將粉體加入到圓筒容器內,使圓筒底面保持水平,當粉體從簡底的中心孔流出,在筒內形成的逆圓錐狀殘留粉體堆積體的傾斜角。 這兩種傾斜角都是休止角,有時也採用傾斜法;在繞水平軸慢速迴轉的圓筒容器內加入占其容積的1/2~1/3的粉體,當粉體的表面產生滑動時,測定其表面的傾斜角。 休止角越小,摩擦力越小,流動性越好,一般認為θ≤30度時流動性好,θ≤40度時可以滿足生產過程中的流動性需求。
