Head –

  1. Up            – go  North
  2. Down       – go  South
  3. over          – go to (somewhere)
  4. out            – go to leave
  5. back         – go back
  6. in/inside  – into (somewhere)
  7. off              – to stop (something) / to make (someone/something) changing course
  8. for             –  go toward specific place due to some aims

 

“Head over” (v.s  “come over”)  Example :

A: Hey, peter, do you want to come over?

B: Ya, sure, I am going to head over right now.

 

“Head out” Example:

(I got some things come up. ) I am going to head out in five minutes.
= I am going to leave here in five minutes.

 

“Head in” Example:

(Here is scorching hot.) I am going to head in.

= I am going to go inside.

 

“Head back” Example:

(Hey, peter, I am so sorry. It’s getting quite late. ) I have got to head back.

= I am going to where I came from.
