I’m calling about my interview tomorrow afternoon.
Well, unfortunately I need to move [the interview/appointment] to [Wednesday/othertime]. I’m terribly sorry to tell you at the last minute, but I need to deal with my personal emergency. So I’m calling to see if it’s not too late for me to change the appointment.
Ok, I understand, these things happen.
We don’t have to meet in the morning, our schedule is adjustable.
Moving the meeting to Sunday is manageable/doable.
The only problem is that my flight is non changeable. So I’m not sure what I can do now.
Well, perhaps we could … if … Would that be a problem?
I am flexible.

Thanks Lucy. Bye for now.
Your feelings are completely understandable.
