[come in] If a fashion or product comes in, it becomes available OR popular:
e.g Flared trousers first came in during the 1970s.
e.g Gear turbofan (GTF) for commercial airliner came in 2015 /2016

to be useful for a particular purpose:
e.g Keep it, it might come in useful.
e.g The money will come in handy when I want to travel.
e.g I usually keep few banknotes of US and EU in my wallet, in case on day I have to stay over and it come in useful.

If a warning device goes off, it starts to ring loudly or make a loud noise:

e.g When the stall warning goes off, just keep release and release (or even little push) the control yoke forward.
