Head –
- Up – go North
- Down – go South
- over – go to (somewhere)
- out – go to leave
- back – go back
- in/inside – into (somewhere)
- off – to stop (something) / to make (someone/something) changing course
- for – go toward specific place due to some aims
“Head over” (v.s “come over”) Example :
A: Hey, peter, do you want to come over?
B: Ya, sure, I am going to head over right now.
“Head out” Example:
(I got some things come up. ) I am going to head out in five minutes.
= I am going to leave here in five minutes.
“Head in” Example:
(Here is scorching hot.) I am going to head in.
= I am going to go inside.
“Head back” Example:
(Hey, peter, I am so sorry. It’s getting quite late. ) I have got to head back.
= I am going to where I came from.
