FROM THE FIRST MEET TO THE FIRST STEP SUMMIT
There is a phrase in Chinese: 有緣千里來相會 無緣對面不相逢
The phrase are similar in the English: As decreed by providence you have met him;
otherwise you might have failed although you traveled a long way.
Do you believe in fate? I trust in it deeply! If it is not existing, I do not know Kazuki and Daisuke as well as we do not have the edge (a concept of Buddhism) to assemble again in Japan.
The story need to recall from the past summer, just half an year ago, I met Kazuki and Daisuke who are Japanese in the Moldova, an European country since we were taking part in an exchange program that are hold by a NGO (Non-governmental organization) called AIESEC.
In this holiday, the Traditional Chinese New Year festival, I only was planning to go to the Tokyo for visiting Kazuki and Daisuke originally if Kazuki had not introducing the FIRST STEP Summit, an AIESEC event, to me. Now, I will attend in the event apart from gathering and exploring. My destination is changed from the Tokyo to the Kobe.
Destiny! Is it exist really? Anyway, it drives me linking up with the AIESEC that is having division no matter in Hong Kong ,Taiwan or other regions. I, however, did not know it when I was living in Hong Kong or even after I had gone to Taiwan until join in a seminar lesson in NTUT(the University where I am staying at).
AIESEC is an amazing, marvelous organization that provide various opportunity for me connecting with people who are from different faculties, universities and countries. It give me chances to practice the information technology knowledge also. I do not refuse that it is making influence on me. Without AIESEC, I was not in the Moldova ; Without the first meeting, there is no Japan trip this time.
“Can’t site cool gor” (関西空港)
Welcome to KANSAI (Looking at the bannar) Thank god that I arrived safely! (Thinking in my mind)
I took the Japanese language course last year but I cannot remember all the alphabet still. It is embarrassing rightly! Anyway, I am confident in solving the problem of communication by common sense and body language.
In the arrival hall, I guess at the procedure of entering. It’s work.(Happy) Just routunely passing the checkpoint of immigration and then the Custom where is the most annoying as they usually check on the f
oreign visitor stictly. Finally, I entered the Japan truely.
While I was going out from the arrival hall, I saw that there is a lady who were raising a welcome card waiting for me. Sayuri, you gave me the sense of security at the moment.I know that you waked up early for picking me up in the airport. You brought me to tasted the real, genuine Ramen also. I am so happy with you.
After finished the luch, Sayuri and I went to Kengo who is the in charge of the summit. Kengo invited me to his house. Wow, nice house! His mother made me a box of breakfast for the next day. Thank you Mom.I received your memo and I will visit you again and taste your coffee.
Even though the temperature in Kobe was just about 2-3 Celsius at the day, I did not feel cold but warm!
“Ha g me mask dad”(始めまして)
Today is 24Feb,2013, the date of the FSS and I have been in the Kobe for 4days that is fantastic and joyous. I have met as well as learnt from the KBLC AIESECer and the FSS participant.
In these days, I have felt that the Japanese, the students in High School and the KBLC,AIESEC are excellent.
I remember deeply that Sayuri welcomed me at the airport and Kengo as well. Meanwhile, Kengo could handle the suddenly situation calmly (a CEEDer arrival at the airport in the Tokyo) Kengo got sick in the end maybe because of too tired. Also, all of the CC Team member (I mean the KBLC AIESECer) who are hard-working and spend a lot in this event. From picking us me in the morning(they weak up very eardly) to even cooking for us(just like our mum) ; The participant enjoy in it(willing to speak in the English in the sharing) and so on. I really can feel the passion, profession and motivation in the Japanese students nowadays.
I do not praise others easily but I have to say to all of you who met me in the Kobe: Japanese students are good, be more confident to chat with foreigner, you are actually better that them.
