You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>give details about a time you worked in a team<\/li>\n<li>learn how to structure a talk about a professional\/academic experience<\/li>\n<li>learn words and phrases for talking about working in a team<\/li>\n<li>practise word stress to help you speak clearly.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p>HR Manager: TOMMY,<strong> as you know, this role involves working in a small team and it\u2019s very important to work well with other team members<\/strong>. <strong>So can you tell me about a time<\/strong> when you worked with other colleagues towards a common goal?<\/p>\n<p>TOMMY:<strong> Yes. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">I remember one time<\/span> when<\/strong> we <strong>had<\/strong> a sales drive. The team had to increase new customer accounts by ten per cent over two months. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>It wasn\u2019t easy but we worked togethe<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">r as a t<\/span>eam and met the target.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>\/\/NOTES: [\u97f3] It wasn&#8217;t easy&#8230;(pause)&#8230; but we worked together-<em>ras-sa-<\/em>team\/\/<\/p>\n<p>HR Manager: I see. So <strong>tell me<\/strong> what you <strong>did.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>TOMMY:<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong> Um \u2026 well quite soon I realised that<\/strong> <\/span>not all team members were<strong> motivated<\/strong>. When I talked to them,<strong> I understood that they already had a lot of work to do<\/strong> and didn\u2019t think the increased target was<em> realistic<\/em>. So I got the team together and we <strong>worked out how we could all share the existing and new work.<\/strong> I even<strong> took on some of my colleagues\u2019 work.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>HR Manager: Ok.
