It<strong> can<\/strong> be positive (<strong>+ve<\/strong>), negative (<strong>-ve<\/strong>), or both, and can address, create or result in opportunities and threats<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Consequences<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>the outcome of an event expressed qualitatively or quantitatively, being a loss, injury, <strong>disadvantage<\/strong> or<strong> gain<\/strong>. There may be a range of possible outcomes associated with an event (ISO31000:2018 3.6)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Likelihood<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>used as a qualitative\u00a0 description of <strong>probability<\/strong> or <strong>frequency<\/strong>.
