{"id":6165,"date":"2020-11-03T00:00:22","date_gmt":"2020-11-02T16:00:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tommykwan.com\/blog\/?p=6165"},"modified":"2020-11-03T00:00:22","modified_gmt":"2020-11-02T16:00:22","slug":"safety-helmets-in-construction-site","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/tommykwan.com\/blog\/occupational-health-and-safety-osh\/legislative-context-in-ohs\/safety-helmets-in-construction-site\/","title":{"rendered":"Safety helmets in Construction Site"},"content":{"rendered":"[Ref <a href=\"https:\/\/www.elegislation.gov.hk\/hk\/cap59I\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cap.59I<\/a>]\n<p>According to &#8220;CONSTRUCTION SITES (SAFETY) REGULATIONS&#8221; :<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><strong>Cap.59I 48 <\/strong>Safety helmets<\/p>\n<p><strong>(1)<\/strong> A <strong>contractor<\/strong> responsible for a construction site shall\u2014<br \/>\n\u8ca0\u8cac\u5efa\u7bc9\u5730\u76e4\u7684<strong>\u627f\u5efa\u5546<\/strong>\u9808<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(a) provide each workman employed on the site with a suitable safety helmet; and<br \/>\n\u5411\u53d7\u50f1\u65bc\u5efa\u7bc9\u5730\u76e4\u7684<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u6bcf\u540d<\/span>\u5de5\u4eba<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u63d0\u4f9b<\/span>\u9069\u7576\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u982d\u76d4\uff1b\u53ca<\/li>\n<li>(b) take all reasonable steps to ensure that no workman remains on the site unless he is wearing a suitable safety helmet.<br \/>\n\u63a1\u53d6\u6240\u6709\u5408\u7406\u6b65\u9a5f\uff0c\u4ee5<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">\u78ba\u4fdd<\/span>\u5de5\u4eba\u5982\u7121\u914d\u6234\u7740\u9069\u7576\u7684 \u5b89\u5168\u982d\u76d4\uff0c\u5247\u4e0d\u5f97\u9017\u7559\u5728\u5efa\u7bc9\u5730\u76e4\u5167\u3002<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>(1A)<\/strong> Any <strong>contractor who has direct control<\/strong> over any construction work shall\u2014<br \/>\n\u4efb\u4f55<strong>\u76f4\u63a5\u63a7\u5236\u4efb\u4f55\u5efa\u7bc9\u5de5\u7a0b\u7684\u627f\u5efa\u5546<\/strong>\u9808<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>(a) provide each workman employed to carry out the construction work with a suitable safety helmet; and<br \/>\n\u5411\u53d7\u50f1\u9032\u884c\u8a72\u5efa\u7bc9\u5de5\u7a0b\u7684\u6bcf\u540d\u5de5\u4eba\u63d0\u4f9b\u9069\u7576\u7684\u5b89\u5168\u982d\u76d4\uff1b\u53ca<\/li>\n<li>(b) take all reasonable steps to ensure that no workman employed to carry out the construction work remains on the site unless he is wearing a suitable safety helmet.
