There are numerous examples:\u00a0we might have problem on <em>utility services <\/em>like power failure, which black out our home; we might have to wait for ages outside the restaurant; we might have experience about negotiation of\u00a0rental rate\u00a0with our <em>landlord<\/em>; we might have come across signal glitch on MTR; we might have met taxi driver who drove over-speeding; we might met some over-enthusiastic shopkeeper in outlets; we might have forgotten our e-banking password and need to reset it from bank. You might even name more!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">Notes:<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><strong>Utility services <\/strong>&#8211; electricity, gas, water ;<br \/>\n<strong>Landlord \/Landlady<\/strong> &#8211; who rent you their property ;<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><strong>Tenant<\/strong> &#8211; who ask to rent the property from the landlord<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">\n<hr \/>\n<p>One day, if we need to help other solving their problem, we may say:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><strong>What is<\/strong> the problem? ( = What&#8217;s the problem? )<\/div>\n<div class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<p>In the lesson, I have just learnt some phrases to express emotions or explain opinions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">\u00a0[Anger]\n<ul>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><strong>Great! That&#8217;s just great!<br \/>\n<\/strong> (here is the usage of sarcasm &#8211; what we say has the opposite meaning)<\/li>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\"><strong>That&#8217;s it! That does it!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">What a life!<\/li>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">(The lamp) <strong>I told you <\/strong>about<strong> is<\/strong> (flickering) <strong>again!\u00a0 [(what) I told you is &#8230; again!]<\/strong><\/li>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">That&#8217;s really bad!<br \/>\n(<strong>\u2260<\/strong>\u00a0That&#8217;s\u00a0too bad. [Sympath])<\/li>\n<li class=\"mycourse-lessondetail-desc\">(The traffic in London) <strong>is terrible. Is<\/strong>\u00a0(the traffic) <strong>always this bad? <\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>[Surprise]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Are you serious? Why?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>You must be joking!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>O&#8230;Really? I can&#8217;t believe it.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Oh my God!<\/li>\n<li>You&#8217;re kidding!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>[Disappointment]\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Well, that&#8217;s the way it goes I guess.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Well, <strong>just my luck.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>What a day!<\/li>\n<li><strong>So much for (me today!)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>[Sympathy\u00a0 + (making offer)]\n<ul>\n<li>I know what you mean.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(Peter),<strong> I know how you feel.
