The performance may be reduced due to the high\u00a0relative humidity in the damp night. However, I feel that it’s not a big deal since I have learnt how to make a wisdom decision as a pilot point of view – of coz, \u00a0I start from “ab initio”<\/strong> – there are much worth for learning beyond my imagination.<\/p>\n Tonight, I have just attended the departure briefing in the Hong Kong Aviation Club<\/strong> with my group-mates and two mentors. Well, time is passing fast. I cannot remember what I was doing last year at the exactly night, but I do want to refresh my memory in the future by the method of typing a blog.<\/p>\n The only memory from my mind is that I felt dis-orientation in the past – that is vital for any pilot. Yup! Now, everything in my life can be related to aviation – from my work, my friends, my ornament on the deck and even my wallpaper.<\/p>\n Well, Tommy Kwan, what do you want to be now? The answer is simply! What do you want to be in the future? The answer is apparent as well!<\/p>\n In the past, Now, In the future<\/strong><\/p>\n Before 2011, I was just like other typical Hong Kong students, studying in the Primary school, Secondary school and then participated in the HKCEE and HKALE. After that, I chose to go to Taiwan for my Bachelor Degree Program in Molecular Sci and Eng. At the first day when I took the airplane to my mother-school that in Taipei, I made a self-promise – I need to make full use of the four year to improve myself. I wanted to be the forensic specialist in the past. However, the curriculum in my faculty is based on material-engineering. Perhaps some may have question about if it is my first-choice or if I had planned to choose my desire subject in the university. I do had thought about the question. However, there were various factors that I choose to go to Taiwan for the major subject. Subject, Location, and Budget were all be considered. The action\u00a0was taken after the overall evaluation<\/strong>. \u00a0My uncle was studied in Taiwan when he was young, after listen to his story, \u00a0as a non-travel experience Hong Kong children, I do really want to explore the world – how is the world? Why teacher said that the world is circle? (of coz not! It is oval~ XD) Back to my option why I choice to Taiwan. Well, Taiwan people are using Traditional Chinese by means that I do not need to worry about the language! In terms of location, it is just located at the north of Hong Kong approximately 700 km<\/strong> (equal to 700 x 1.852 NM<\/strong>). \u00a0As for the airline ticket, it cost 1800 to 3000 HKD, my parent can afford it. Okay! \u00a0Go \u00a0or not decision<\/strong> – GO! What I need to to? Prepare for the examination!\u00a0<\/strong> So happy that I entered a decent university although it is not my first-choice.<\/p>\n In the first year of my university life, I joined a seminar that hold by the ASUS, a prestige brand<\/strong> that I have heard when\u00a0I was a children still living in Hong Kong. I learned an International student\u00a0origination, through that origination, I obtained various team work<\/strong> experience in the Marketing and Communication<\/strong> Department. Also, I had a fabulous, impressive exchange experience to the Moldova, a place in the Eastern Europe, South of the Ukraine and\u00a0adjacent to the Romania. \u00a0Have to say that, I was always reminding myself \u00a0that I needed to broaden my horizon, play as a good team player while it did not relief my\u00a0responsibility<\/strong> as a student. Therefore, I quit the group and be focus on my subjects.<\/p>\n Despite of my leaving, I had found that I do really want to make friend with various people with different culture background. My\u00a0philosophy about everything is simply: Everything in the world has its pros and cons. I\u00a0realize the dark side while I respect on it.<\/p>\n Happy time is passing fast always. after I made few more trips, one exchange and two for travelling. I had to be serious on my final project. Go or not decision again – Indeed, I had two choice, either doing experience or doing review on others essay. Again, after overall evaluation, I chose the later one. Two reasons drive me to do so, the first one is that I have found that I am interest in aviation, the second factor is that I don’t want to waste the resource that provide by my professor. Therefore, I discussed with she as well as received the approval and supporting from she.<\/p>\n At that time, I was starting to find if any method to learn about aviation. Perhaps the number of solution is usually more than difficulty. I noticed two courses about the Private Pilot License. One is operated by HKU Space and a private training center. An other is hold by the HKAC.<\/p>\n In the Aug of 2015, I came back to Hong Kong and stated to find a job. Eventually, I am working in a IT team at the daytime while I am a student pilot at the nighttime.<\/p>\n Why I am working in the IT team? I am interest in the field as well as I want to make it to be my profession!<\/strong>\u00a0Having to say that – Passion is not enough because I need to fulfill the requirement, both the aptitude and personality<\/strong>. The last thing is suitable for everyone and every position – sustain our life!<\/strong> For me, I do not need to be a rich people. Money is not my main concern for a job. On the other hand, I do want to do what I want to.<\/p>\n What I want to be pilot?<\/strong><\/p>\n Simply – Professional – Taking about safety safety and safety!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Well… What I need to do now is going to chat with the future pilot in my dream! \n<\/strong>One of my hobby<\/strong> is the Science of Computer, this hobby should be tracing back to my life in the secondary school. I do remember that I was growing in a traditional family – father is a little\u00a0conservative and mother is\u00a0devotion-type of woman. What I am going to point out is that – I have had the Internet access at home since the first year in the Secondary school. After the first time I saw some websites like: Yahoo, HTC… Wow, how can<\/strong> the designer make it? Perhaps my\u00a0curiosity always driving me to find the answer.\u00a0<\/strong>I asked my mum to help me paying the tuition for a website and programming course in a private training center. After that course, I had recognized that I need more training about how to maintain a server, at least how to deploy the APACHE server. Therefore, I joined one more course about Linux.
