It consists of the battery, ignition switch, and a starter motor. Of course, you may say the electrical circuit (lines and switch) is important.<\/p>\n<p>In general, we use battery to run the starter motor which provide initial force to the engine. When the starter motor turn, it turn the propeller and the magnetos since all these aircraft components are connecting together via mechanical device (crankshaft).
